Absolutely. Many students begin with no previous experience. The courses help students learn step by step in a supportive environment, developing practical skills and confidence at their own pace.

How do I know which course or training pathway is right for me?

BH Holistics takes time to understand each student's goals, whether they are starting a new career, adding qualifications or exploring holistic therapies for personal growth, and helps them choose a suitable training pathway.

Will I receive support after my course has finished?

Yes. Students can stay in touch for guidance, mentoring and business support as they build confidence and begin working with clients.

I want a meaningful career. Can holistic therapy really offer that?

A career in holistic therapy can be personally rewarding and professionally fulfilling with suitable training, ongoing support and commitment.

Are all the courses accredited and insurable?

Yes, all the holistic and massage practitioner courses are accredited with the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine and insurable with Westminster Insurance Company.

Can I set up as a professional therapist after the course?

Yes, once you have completed your course and received your certificate you can gain your insurance and set up straight away for your new business. Lindsay will guide you with business advice.

Are there payment plans available for the training courses?

Yes, BH Holistics offers flexible payment plans to meet personal requirements. A monthly payment plan of £130 for the longer courses is popular. Personal payment plans are also available on request.

How many students are on the courses and how long is a training day?

BH Holistics Training Academy has a maximum of four students to ensure small, friendly groups and individual teaching. A training day usually runs from 10am to 3pm, with an hour lunch break.

Is there support after a course?

Yes, Lindsay provides ongoing teaching, mentoring and support after courses. Individual WhatsApp groups are set up for courses to continue student support, friendships and communication with the teacher.

Are there any case studies in the courses?

Some courses require case studies. The teacher provides all relevant details during the course.

Are all courses suitable for beginners?

Most holistic and massage therapy courses are suitable for beginners, including students with no prior experience. Exceptions include Eastern bamboo massage and Reiki levels above the student's current attunement.

What should I wear to join a course training day?

Wear professional, comfortable and breathable clothing suitable for your course. Massage courses require short sleeves and short nails. Warm socks may be useful during winter training days.

Where is BH Holistics based?

BH Holistics is based in Penrith, Cumbria, within the Lake District, and is accessible from Manchester, Newcastle and beyond.

Is there accommodation available if I come for a course here?

Penrith offers a range of accommodation options, including hotels, bed and breakfasts, and Airbnb properties.
