Stress! Can this be a choice?

Yes, I do believe that we can choose not to stress!

Stress depletes our hormones, our bodies will always choose survival over our reproductive system, which in turn affects all our systems of our body creating Brain fuzz, sleep problems , body pain, stagnated digestive system, weight issues, low energy, negative emotional response to name just a few.

Even if we eat the most nutritional food , if we stress too much our bodies do not break it down and make use of all the beautiful nutritional food to feed our cells , it just sits there and stagnates.

learning about the menopause and how our bodies change during this time has definitely highlighted that one of the most important things we can do to help our holistic wellbeing is to choose not to stress.

Sounds simple and it is, we just need to get into our driving seat in life and choose what we want. I choose happiness and joy and choose not to stress.

I am not saying that this is always an easy task, but recognising the signs of stress and deciding not to allow it to affect me is the first step, I often say to myself, will I remember this tomorrow? next week? next month? next year? if the answer is no, I have already decided it is not a life changing stress and doesn’t need to spoil my day.

I will go for a swim, do yoga, walk outside in the fresh air and ground my feet, talk about it, write it down and let it go.

We need to train our brain, behaviour and responses to achieve to be the best version of ourselves that we can be.

I teach holistic life coaching and menopause therapy at BH Holistics training academy, we talk about all this and so much more.

If we don’t want to repeat our lives doing the same thing every day, every month, every year, we have to do something different.

Get in touch today and start your something different.
